We are a volunteer Search and Rescue unit under the umbrella of the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office

Joining the Posse carries obligations to participate, as you are able, in the Yavapai County Jeep Posse’s efforts for Search and Rescue (SAR) missions as well as community service, fire evacuation, fund raising activities and other Posse undertakings.  Members are certified in CPR/First Aid as well as SAR qualified. We have ongoing training in radio communications, GPS use, map reading, and back road trips to familiarize members with the area.
